STUDIO JUX
„Studio JUX is always looking for sustainable innovations. Leather used to be a problem: we think leather has such unique characteristics, that it can‘t be replaced by other materials. rooters gave us the solution, the rhubarb leather even feels better!”
ANNE GORKE
The German designer Anne Gorke offer elegant and timeless fashion that is produced fair and organically. All of the materials are produced by German companies and stitched together in regional sewing rooms or in their own production facilities.
“We are always on the lookout for new materials. They have to meet our fashion demands but we also place a lot of value on the material’s sustainability. This includes not only organic production but the material’s origin as well. rooter’s rhubarb leather fulfils these criteria. We were more than satisfied when we received the first leather to produce our prototypes. We were excited about the quality, look and feel of the leather.”
KASEEE
Katrin Sergejew, an avant-garde designer from Apolda, also uses the material for her label Kasee. This year she took part in the Baltic Fashion Award on the island of Usedom and used rhubarb leather to produce unique bags, jackets and trousers.
